By posting here at MMOHAWK Forums you agree to abide by the following rules and policies set up by the MMOHAWK Staff; these are set up to help keep the forums enjoyable for everyone, and also safe. If you choose to not follow the rules, your account will have the appropriate action taken against it depending on the severity of the offense.


1) Flaming I know sometimes when you are trying to discuss things in an online forum, things may get pretty heated. All I ask is you be respectful, not baiting, which means trying to get someone into an argument. No name calling and being rude, and no need to get personal.

2) We enforce copy rights heavily here. If you are going to post an article, you must post the article in this format.

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a Renderman programmer to handle the technical needs of the cinematics department.

3) Relevent Threads. Please make sure when posting anything that it is in the appropriate thread. Also, that it is in the appropriate forum when posting new threads.


4) Moderating Team. They are here to help you and help this forum. There job is to help enforce the rules and help keep the forums neat and orginized. After they delete a thread or move it they are required to send you a private message, if you realize that one of your threads is missing.. you may contact myself and I will look into it. If you wish to question a moderators decision you may contact them for a more detailed answer to why it is removed. If you feel that you are still being treated unfair. You may contact myself (michael) and I will look into more in depth. My decision is final.

5) We have here at MMOHAWK called an infraction system. Each time you violate the rules depending on which one, points will be added to your username. Some violations are worth more points than others. Most points after so many days expire.


Here is an example.

Violation

Flaming - 3 points - Expires in 10 days.

Once you get to 7 points your account will be issued a one day ban. But after 10 days of recieving the Flaming infraction, the 3 points will be gone.


6) While posting please make sure that you stay on topic.

7) Do not publicly display a Moderators action on the forum. If you were warned. Do not mention it in the forums, and do not name any moderators that have set infractions torwards you. If your thread has been locked, or deleted do not make another one of the same threads or asking 'why is my thread locked'.

8) Posting any illegal content is strictly against the rules at MMOHAWK and could lead to an automatic ban. This includes, but is not limited to, warez, pirated music etc.

9) Finally use common sence. As long as you use your brain, and common sence you will be fine here at MMOHAWK.
