What a stupid thing to be proud of. Hacking games and using bots/autoers/macros make the game something that it's not supposed to be. Anyone that hacks is probably a noob that can't play a game the way it's supposed to be played. These guys that have autoers/macros/bots/etc. (resource-gatherers, crafters, anybody that is programmed to do something that a real person should be telling them what to do while that character's human owner is there).

Sorry, autoing really ticks me off. I look at it from an economic stand-point.

Let's say that there's a resource that needs to be gathered (I play Runescape so I'll mention examples from there: fish, flax, logs). Whenever one owner of (a) bot(s) tells them to gather resources while the owner is at work, school, date, girlfriend's house, the bots are collecting resources that other real players who are at their computer can't get because the bots take them all without human intervention.

Second, bots spoil the game because of the large amount of a certain item that are in the market. Whenever the demand for an item goes up, the price goes up. As the seller's supply remains constant for a while, the price goes down. Basically, whenever there is too much of one particular item, the demand for that item is satisfied, and players that are collecting resources legally can't sell them for the price that it originally was because the guy/girl who had all the bots has a huge percentage of that particular item in the market, and he/she can set the price (a monopoly) These macroers use their bots to ruin the economy of a game. Whenever there are alot of bots collecting items, the price goes down not just for the macroer, but for all the players who are collecting legally. Eventually, the price for the item gets so cheap that the sellers have no intention of selling it because it's not worth the effort (unless it's a macroer). Whenever that happens. The price rises because of the lack of sellers.
