			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Duke Nukem Forever was announced in 1997, and is probably the game that has been long under development ever.</p>
<p>When the original developer 3D Realms resigned their employees last year, we thought all hope was lost, but in late 2009 was the remains of the game transferred to Gearbox Software, which since then has worked in secret to complete the project.</p>
<p>Now Gearbox and publisher 2K Games revealed secret. The game comes to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC again next year, and Gearbox jobs, according to studio manager Randy Pitch Ford currently with polish.</p>
<p>We currently have few concrete details about the game, but this will undoubtedly change over the next few days, after which the game has debuted in playable form on the PAX show in Seattle.</p>
<p>What we know is in any case that aliens are visiting earth, that their intentions are evil, and that Duke Nukem once again to save the planet.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Amnesia: The Dark Descent is the next game from the creators of Penumbra series. If you know these games, there should be no surprise that Amnesia is a game of the scary type.</p>
<p>You need to explore a haunted castle, somewhere in Prussia (the game takes place at the time how this was an actual country). You do not remember why you are in the castle, but you know that something very dangerous is looking for you.</p>
<p>Amnesia is released via digital distribution on 8 September, and comes to the Mac, Linux and PC. The developers have released a playable demo for all formats, which you can download from the <a href="http://www.amnesiagame.com/#demo">official site</a>.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Unigine has announced OilRush, a real-time strategy games for PC, Linux and PS3. The game takes place in future where the world is flooded, and combines classic real-time strategy elements with &#8220;tower defense&#8221; genre.</p>
<p>The game is about the battle for oil, and you need to build oil platforms and extracting the black gold while the enemy still trying to take it from you. Of course you can also respond by taking over their oil installations.</p>
<p>Along the way you have to build defense installations, investigate the new technologies (like nuclear bombs) and control ships, submarines and aircraft. As usual in the genre we were promised extensive multiplayer capabilities over LAN and Internet.</p>
<p>The game will debut in the latter part of the year, via the digital distribution of PC. The other versions will come later.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Three weeks ago it was announced that Cryptic new online game, Champions Online, which was released worldwide 14 July, but now the developer has decided to hold the game back after feedback from beta testers.</p>
<p>- It&#8217;s enormously important to a massive online game to be as good as possible when it is launched. Through our ongoing dialogue with our loud and helpful beta testers, we realized that we need more time to implement certain features that are important for the further development of Champions Online, &#8220;says producer Bill Roper on the game website.</p>
<p>The new release date for Champions Online is 1 September. This is the PC version, and it is still unknown when the Xbox 360 version is released.</p>

<p>Outland described as a cross platform game Prince of Persia and romskytespillet Ikaruga. It is a two-dimensional platform / action game where you navigate through large and colorful jungle environments filled with nasty enemies.</p>
<p>Like Ikaruga, you can flip between dark and light form of your hero, and the key is that if you have the dark form of light damage to attack, and vice versa. The same applies to your enemies, you have to, for example, have light form of damage to dark enemies.</p>
<p>IGN, which has taken a look at the game before the official PAX-unveiling, says that the things in the environment will react to what form you have. An elevator, for example, go up when you are dark and down when you are light.</p>
<p>Otherwise, said that the exploration will be an important element, and that each level is protected by a giant &#8220;boss&#8221;.</p>

<p>Perhaps even a touch more controversial is that the primary release of the game in this country will come with the Norwegian language as the only option. So you have to buy an alternate English version if you want a foreign-language text or voice. This will go on sale in selected stores.</p>

<p>Epic Mickey is a Nintendo Wii-exclusive platformer developed by one of the industry&#8217;s most legendary game producers, Warren Spector. Veteran has been involved in the development of classic games like System Shock, Thief: The Dark Project and Deus Ex, and this is his first game in six years.</p>
<p>In Spector&#8217;s interpretation of Mickey Mouse will be in his second game to be a strong focus on the player to make personal choices, and you will see a darker and more morally ambiguous side of the proverbial mouse.</p>
<p>Epic Mickey is scheduled to release in November.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Norwegian Game Awards is a game development competition for Norwegian students. The final took place on 27 August, and a number of exciting game projects fighting for a prize pool of 70 000.</p>
<p>The winner of the most coveted prize was Owlboy, a delightful platform / puzzle game with a retro feel 2D graphics and a focus on adventure, story telling and exploration. The game is in development for Xbox 360 and PC.</p>
<p>The prize for best innovation went to the Apocalypse, an action-oriented tactics game where the goal is to corrupt the human race to advance the doomsday.</p>
<p>Point-and-click adventure Evil Jr. received the prize for best performance. In this game you get the role as the son of an evil genius, who finally gets the opportunity to take a look at our father&#8217;s secret base (appropriately enough located in a volcano).</p>
<p>Finally, we Forklift The Game, who was jury selection in the competition. As the name implies, this is a game where you play around with a forklift.</p>
