Runescape developer of new MMO

Edge can report that the Jagex, the company behind the MMO Runescape great success. Their latest project is a massive online game, but seems to be quite different from their previous release. Stellar Dawn, which will be called, is actually a science-fiction game set in space.

Developers do not say much about the game yet, but the studio’s director Mark Gerhard argues that it should be played on just about every computer out there. Large parts of the game’s content will also be available without having to pay for it. Moreover, he continues:

- Stellar Dawn is Jagex’s largest project to date, and all our employees quivering with excitement as we enter the final part of development. We are very pleased with how this game ended up. The development team has blended style, content and technology cleverly show to create the entertainment and duration, we are known for.

Runescape is one of the world’s most popular massive online game, and Jagex even said that they have over 130 million users. How many of those who are active it is said nothing about, but there are impressive numbers in any case.
